Ed became a valued member of our team in 2020, bringing with him extensive experience from leading financial management firms and various nonprofits. Drawn to FAM’s commitment to prioritizing clients’ interests, emphasizing financial planning, and serving as a trusted, honest advisor to families, couples, and individuals, he quickly became an integral part of our mission. He believes financial planning should be clear, honest, and tailored to you—helping you build wealth, reduce stress, and achieve your goals with confidence. In 2025, he took on the role of partner, further strengthening the firm’s leadership.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and has been featured in Financial Planner magazine. He completed his certification education with New York University and earned a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University where he majored in accounting. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association’s Metro New York Chapter, where he participates in various pro bono and educational initiatives. This includes an annual investing presentation for New York State Senator Liz Krueger and her constituents. Additionally, he serves as treasurer for his son’s Cub Scout pack and previously contributed to his community as a member of a mayoral advisory committee in the Village of Croton-on-Hudson.
Ed’s career spans both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. He began as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, auditing public and private companies, before moving into roles as a controller overseeing fixed-income securities at Credit Suisse and Natixis Capital Markets. His passion for mission-driven work led him to serve as a fundraising consultant for multiple nonprofits and as Vice President of Development for the Institute for New Economic Thinking, an economics think tank founded by George Soros.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ed is an avid traveler who has explored over 40 countries. He has acted in several amateur off-Broadway productions and is a three-time marathon finisher. These days, he dedicates much of his free time to playing with his two young children and doing all the work in his wife's vegetable garden.
